Delete your account

You can delete your Soonjar account, and the data that goes with it, at any time.

In the app

Go to Settings › Account and household › Delete account.

As a last step, you confirm it’s you with Apple or Google.

Want a copy of your pantry? Tap Export my data first on that page.

Your household and its pantry, if no one else is in it

Stays with the family

What you added to a household that others are in. In place of your name, it shows Former member.

Copies in our backups are gone within 14 weeks.

Can’t open the app?

Write to us from the email address of the Apple or Google account you sign in with, and ask us to delete your account. We’ll do it within 30 days and let you know.

Have Premium?

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel the subscription. Cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions.
